English guided tour
We offer you a time journey, through the water tower “la Torre de les Aigües del Besòs”, one of the few Barcelona’s industrial heritage elements that has survived to the present days, in the Poblenou neighbourhood.
The climb is done by foot: there are 311 steps until the belvedere at the top of the tower.
The visits takes around 75-90 min.
Free entry for children under 12, however they must be accompanied by an adult.
The tower, more than 60 meters high, built by the modernist architect Pere Falqués in 1882, is an emblematic building that has survived a century and a half of changes to the Poblenou district.
To end the visit, from the top of the tower you can observe the skyline of Barcelona, a city that is constantly changing.
Due to the architectural structure of the tower, visits must be done with a guide, who will accompany you on this time travel through the Barcelona of the 19th and 20th centuries, in the industrial past of Barcelona.
The route is done by foot, climbing 311 steps to the belvedere located at the top of the tower.
The visits have a duration of approximately 75-90 min. Visits are made in groups of a maximum 10 people. Any child under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free for children under 12 years old.
